Call for applications

The French Zeolite Group has decided this year to continue awarding the "Denise Barthomeuf" doctoral thesis prize in 2026. This prize aims to recognize, based on scientific quality, the work of a young doctoral candidate whose main research topic is related to porous materials such as zeolites or related materials.

This thesis prize of €400, sponsored by Micromeritics, will be awarded at the GFZ Annual Meeting in 2026. Candidates whose theses were defended after December 1, 2024, are eligible for this prize.

The complete application must be sent to the President of the GFZ at the following email address: emily.bloch@univ-amu.fr by December 31, 2025.

The application must include the following documents in electronic format:

  • The reviewers' reports
  • A CV including a complete list of publications, patents, and poster and oral presentations related to the defended thesis
  • A letter of recommendation from the thesis supervisor
  • The thesis defence report

The jury responsible for awarding this prize will be composed of members of the GFZ board.

The winner agrees to attend the next GFZ Annual Meeting in 2026.
