Call for Applications

The French Zeolite Group and Ribori Instrumentation are launching a call for applications for the 2026 Young Researcher Award.

This €1,000 award is open to researchers, Associate Professors, Research Fellows, and Research Engineers. To qualify as a "young researcher," applicants must have defended their doctoral thesis (or obtained any degree or qualification equivalent to the international PhD standard) within the last 15 years (i.e., after January 1, 2011).

The application requirements are as follows:

  • Application deadline: January 15, 2026. Applications should be submitted in PDF format (one single file) to: emily.bloch@univ-amu.fr bogdan.harbuzaru@ifpen.fr
  • Applications (candidate's background, scientific, teaching, collaborative, and supervisory activities, summary of research work) should not exceed 10 pages (excluding appendices). A list of scientific publications (articles, presentations) will be provided in the appendix.
  • A letter of recommendation from a recognized expert in the field of porous materials (from another laboratory) is required.
  • Candidates may not be members of the GFZ board during the year of their application.
  • Candidates must commit to attending the GFZ congress in 2026.

Exceptions: Two types of exceptions will be considered favorably:

  • Maternity leave (for mothers only): one year of exception per child
  • Total parental leave: for the father or mother, one, two, or three years of exception per child.
